Inspiration

I realized today that I have 23 days left until school starts and only a handful of them to get things organized and ready to go for this new school year! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!

I was sitting on my couch, feeling all sorry for myself when I decided to check my e-mail...and what did I find? A little inspiration from Anita.

Who is Anita? She is the most amazing Education Professional Development presenters I've ever heard--I wish I had even half the energy she runs around with! Her workshop in Salt Lake this summer was INCREDIBLE!

And what was it that I found to help inspire me out of my panic?!?!?!

Pride and Prejudice

My friend and I have been Pride and Prejudice "junkies" lately. Together we watched the 5 hour BBC version (the older one) and the 6 hour Colin Firth version. I've also seen the new version and the Pride and Prejudice-the Pink Bible (LDS) version. I also JUST finished reading the actual book by Jane Austen. I am definitely a HUGE Mr. Darcy fan now! Not that I didn't enjoy him through the movies, but there is definitely something different about the Darcy in the book. Thus the reason for my last post...I am definitely smitten. I might have to put my favorite quote from the book on my next post--actually, there are a couple! ;-)

If you ever need a true romance story to keep you going--I'd recommend this one. :-)

Some help....

So I have a new best friend--tall, dark, and handsome! I believe I have finally found some motivation! My elliptical does wonders for my motivation! I actually WANT to exercise! Double bonus--I love listening to music AND reading and I can do either one while I'm exercising! How awesome is that?!?!?!!??! YEA for finding something that helps!

Anyone out there ever find it hard to "discover" the motivation to do something? That seems to describe me really well these days!

Something new!

My cousin Debra and I had fun oil painting today after school and this is what I came up with! It was a lot of fun and....It was my very first time playing around with oil paints! I think I'm hooked!

Slacker!!!!!!

Hey all my blog fans out there! I'm sorry I'm such a slacker! I have been really sick the last few weeks, but am hopefully on the mend!

I don't have pictures of my house for you all yet, but I am working on that project, hopefully tomorrow!

Other than being sick, life is good. I'm still loving teaching and glad to be in Roosevelt, even if it seems like its too far to be away from my family sometimes. I am sure proud of my little brother and grateful for all the rest of my family too!

I still LOVE being an aunt!
