Amazing Things...

I have had a lot of experiences that have been amazing in the last little bit.  I don't quite know where to start, but maybe on a more light-hearted note would be good...

I decided to go home to see my parents on Saturday night.  As I pulled into the Maverick Gas Station here in Roosevelt, I got out of my car, opened up the gas cap, and turned to swipe my card...when much to my surprise, I noticed how much the gas was...Ready?  It was $2.88!  I was shocked!  I couldn't believe it!  I don't remember the last time I filled up my car for under 50 bucks!  It was a great surprise!  :)  (Now, it will be even better if someday I can pay less than $2!  :)

I have the best class in the whole school.  We got a new student today and my kids, I'm so proud of them, they just welcomed him in and took care of him, telling him all that he needed to know, and reminding him when we started to tell too much!  It was the cutest thing and it made things so much better!  I'll always be grateful for my first class, but I'll never forget this class either!

One of my really good friends at school has been gone a lot.  Her dad is dying and it breaks my heart.  I never realized how much I needed a friend at school till I met her last year.  Since then, its been great.  We have a morning chat and even sneak out to go to lunch together sometimes.  Its been so nice.  I've definitely missed her while she's been gone to be with her family, but I've loved the chance to help and serve her in this different way.  I am so grateful for my friends!

I am also so grateful for my family, I just feel like I should shout it out to the world!  Yeah, we're definitely not perfect, and the relationships I have with them aren't as great as I wish they were, but, I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today, without them.  So when you read this family--Thank you!

I don't know really where this blog will go, but for today, this is what has been on my mind.  I hope it makes sense.

P.S. 22 Days till TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!  I don't know if I can make it!  ;)
