On Tuesday, May 26, some teacher friends and I skipped school and went to the Taylor Swift concert in Salt Lake City. It was such a great day! I was so excited the night before that I couldn't sleep, but the day was great! We went shopping and out to dinner and lunch. We found lots of great deals! I spent a lot of money and it was worth every penny! After we ate dinner at the Gateway (California Pizza Kitchen--YUM!!!) we headed across the street to the Energy Solutions Arena. I haven't been there since I went to a Jazz game when I was in High School...There were SO MANY people there--mostly girls or women...but a few guys too. It was such a fun concert! Taylor is a GREAT entertainer! The show was great--the songs were great, it was all amazing! What a fun time! I think we'll make it a tradition to go and do something fun like that again next year. What a blast!
I was a genius and left my camera at home, but my friends had theirs, so I'm sharing their pictures!
P.S. At one point, Taylor had left the stage for a costume change and ended up on the balcony right by us--only 10 seats away! That's pretty amazing! We all bought t-shirts and sang along with every song! What a great trip! (Even if we didn't get home till about 2 am and still had to wake up to teach school the next day!)
As we were leaving the concert, I ran into one of my cousins, Alisha Snow! There were so many people, it was great that she found me! Thanks Alisha! What a great Concert!!!!!!!!!
